Kara is a Colorado native who lives for fresh air above treeline. Kara began her athletic adventures at the age of 8 as a competitive swimmer which continued through college. Since then, Kara has found her love of the ”runner’s high” adventuring over Colorado peaks, completing various distances of races ranging from marathons to 50 milers. When she puts her trails shoes down, Kara can be found doing long distance open water swims, full triathlons, climbing or lifting heavy things (and putting them back down again). With a firm belief of form over function, and a degree in Human Physiology, Kara attributes much of her success on trails to the training she does with a kettlebell. Kara approaches coaching with the aim of combining her training in medical research with her experience in endurance athletics to aid others in crossing the finish line of their dreams. As a certified endurance coach, Kara will turn goals to accomplishments with a few humorous moments in between.
”There is no mountain you can’t climb, you simply have to know why you are climbing it.”
Jenna has been coaching since 2014. Her journey started in CrossFit, but she has been expanding her knowledge in the world of strength and conditioning ever since. Before finding fitness, she was a classical singer/aspiring rock star, and only dabbled in light exercise. This lack of former physical prowess helped shape her coaching style and her love for the transformational potential of fitness for not only the body, but the mind and heart. When she’s not in the gym she enjoys cooking tasty foods, riding dirt bikes with her husband, playing board games with friends, and, of course, snuggling her chihuahua, Peanut.

Coach – Owner
Karen is co-founder and owner at Bella Strength. She brings with over one hundred hours of various fitness certifications, and over 20 years of instruction. She has taught well over 10,000 classes to more than 100,000 people of all ages and fitness levels.
After experimenting and coaching so many different fitness routines over the years, Karen witnessed numerous overuse injuries from bad movement pattern and no real plan on how to achieve your goals. Her frustration with unsustainable results in the fitness industry grew into a deep passion to help people not only get fit, but stay fit for life.
At 40, Karen is stronger, fitter, and more confident than ever. She attributes this to eating clean, meal prepping and following a sustainably smart, simple and safe strength and conditioning program consisting of squats, deadlifts, pushes, pulls, gymnastics and proper mobility work. Karen strongly believes these fundamental movements are critical to living healthy, and they make up the foundation of the programming at BST.
